The Swiss Gemmological Institute SSEF is part of a non-profit Swiss foundation whose aim it is to further the science of gemstone testing and gemmological training.
The SSEF tests many of the world's most famous and exceptional gemstones. In an effort to share our knowledge and passion for gems we have developed these free online gem courses.
These are available here in Farsi and Italian. Currently the gems covered are Diamonds, Emeralds, Pearls, Rubies, Sapphires.
You will find additional free courses on Garnets, Jade, Opals, Spinels and Tourmalines in our English, French, simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, Japanese. We also provide some courses in Burmese.
